The 1600 square foot space is 'loft style' with wooden floor and bare brick walls and is on the first floor of a 4 storey Victorian building where Clerkenwell Road between Goswell Road and St John Street - see map and directions

It provides a comfortable, airy environment for events of up to 60 people and is an ideal location for meetings, training, seminars, presentations, workshops and cultural / social gatherings.

The Arts Catalyst can organise, or recommend, outside caterers.  We are also happy for clients to arrange their own catering. The studio space has self-catering facilities for tea and coffee.

The Arts Catalyst is available to hire on weekdays, evenings and weekends for £60 per hour with a minimum hire of two hours. Daily rates are tailored case by case requirements. If you would like us to make a quote please e-mail the full details of the event, the dates, the hire times, including getting in and out times, expected attendance numbers, and any other special requirements.

The studio is not wheelchair accessible.

The Space for hire:

• The 1600 square foot studio is open plan with a library area furnished with chesterfield sofas, and a small kitchen area.
• There are stacking chairs for up to 60 people and a large meeting table.
• The space is equipped with a pull down projection screen 2m x 1.5m, a projector, speakers, amp, mixer, dvd player and microphones.
• Occasional fee for equipment.
• An additional charge will be made for supplying event staff working outside of office hours and on weekends, of £10 per hour.
• Additional charge for cleaning if required: £20
• Office hours, Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm.

NB: Unfortunately we do NOT hire out the venue for entertainment events, such as theatrical productions or live music, and neither do we hire it out as an exhibition space for artists outside of our exhibition programme.
