A calendar documenting the construction and dismantling of the Gravity, a monumental ephemeral sculpture by the artist Aleksandra Mir.


The calendar documents the construction and dismantling of the spectacular rocket Gravity, a monumental ephemeral sculpture. The project was a new commission by Art Catalyst, supported by the Arts Council of England and the Henry Moore Foundation, and built for the show 'Space Soon' at the Camden Roundhouse, London in 2006.

The calendar features a history of space disasters and mistakes by Ken Hollings, with photography by Gillean Dickie, Marcus Leith and Andrew Dunkley.

The project was commissioned by Arts Catalyst.
