What Makes You Move: Public Workshop with Erene Kaptani

Participatory performance artist, dramatherapist and researcher Erene Kaptani, from University of Greenwich, invites you to join an afternoon workshop in which she and a group of research participants will present the findings from the research workshops What Makes You Move?, a  research study that explores the body’s capacity to be the creator of personal and social knowledge and change.

Through a combination of methodologies including Lecoq movement based and forum theatre the group of participants explored gendered, migratory and racialised experiences of ‘what makes us move’ to address social and personal situations, and understand what needs to be in place – on both a personal and social level – to support these moves.

Presented by: Nikkita da Silva, Merve Sulun, Elena Dinca, Shakira Malkani, Snowflake and Erene Kaptani
